Bike tour to Emblase de La Pedrera 

For those who want to go on holiday for a relaxing sportive tour, or just want to make a nice trip by bike near El Raso, there are countless possibilities.

An example of this is a trip to or around the reservoir located between El Raso and Murcia.  From Los Montesinos you can follow the well known irrigation channels, but it is best to have a look at the route beforehand and find out exactly how to cycle.

There are many possibilities and of course sometimes it is nice to just follow your intuition.  The shortest route around the reservoir will be about 50km.

Be aware that there are serious height differences and there may be a strong wind above the lake.

The dam of over 700m long and 60m high is certainly worth a look. This dam has been constructed to feed an irrigation system that serves to water the fields in the area.

Around the lake there are a number of very small villages where you can find a few cafes but there is not much to eat or drink.

All in all highly recommended to give it a try!
